Accidents involving cars and motorcycles often have tragic consequences. Such a crash caused critical injuries to a 25-year-old biker on a recent Friday. Reportedly, at approximately 9 p.m. he crashed into a car whose driver apparently committed a left turn violation. The county coroner reported that the biker succumbed to his injuries just after 5 p.m. on the following day.
Authorities say the driver of the vehicle into which the motorcyclist crashed was suspected of being drunk at the time of the accident. He was arrested, and he is now facing charges of suspicion of impaired driving, a left-turn violation and felony vehicular assault. Although he was booked into the county jail, he was later released to await his next court appearance.
