With the oncoming spring weather, bikers will be out

It is not surprising that bicycle commuters begin hitting the streets more often as winter melds into spring the Denver metro area. The fact is, bicyclists have the same right as motor vehicles on municipal streets, county roads and even state highways.

Major effects of not-so-minor injuries (Part 2): Concussions

Seemingly minor injuries can have significant ramifications for your overall health and quality of life. When commenting on the growing number of traffic fatalities in Colorado Springs, a police officer compared drivers to gamers. He noted that many drivers seem to have video game mentalities on the roadways. However, he observed that they often suffer real-life consequences, without the option to press the reset button. In 2017, there were a record number of fatalities involving pedestrians and cyclists. In auto\-pedestrian accidents, of course, the pedestrians typically have little chance of survival.
